Baptism

The Sacrament of Holy Baptism is celebrated at the request of the family and/or the individual. For scheduling a baptism or additional information, please contact one of the pastors or call the church office at (715) 924-4881.

Monthly Newsletter

Our newsletter, "The Visitor" is published once a month. We have a Pastoral Reflections article prepared by Pastor Guy Redfield plus articles regarding the ministry of our congregation and events for the coming month. If you would like to be placed on our mailing list, please contact the church office, (715) 924-4881. Becoming a Member

If you are interested in becoming a member or an associate member of Chetek Lutheran Church, please contact Pastor Guy Redfield or the church office at (715) 924-4881. We accept members through baptism, confirmation, letter of transfer or release, or by reaffirmation of faith.

Holy Communion

The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday. All are welcome to receive communion at the Lord's table. There is a gluten free wafer as well as wheat.

Faith Formation

  • Sunday School classes for all ages (beginning at age three) at 10:00 am from September through May. Vacation Bible School is held during the summer.

  • Bible study, faith and social issues, and parenting are some of the classes offered by Chetek Lutheran Church for adults.

  • Confirmation classes are offered to 6th, 7th and 8th Grade students. Affirmation of Baptism (The Rite of Confirmation) is celebrated in November of the 9th Grade year.

  • Communion study is offered to students in 5th Grade or to those desiring to partake in communion. If parents wish to have their child prepare for communion at an earlier age, they are welcome to do so. Please contact the church office to inquire. (715) 924-4881.
